METAMORFOSE : DAS SOMBRAS A LUZ -"METAMORPHOSIS: FROM SHADOWS TO LIGHT"

Prefeitura de Niterói lança exposição fotográfica “Metamorfose: das sombras à luz” em homenagem ao Mês da Mulher

Eu , e  Coordenadoria e Direito das Mulheres, no ano em que comemora seus 21 anos, criamos e produzimos a exposição “Metamorfose: Das sombras à luz”.

Essa exposição conta a história de 7 mulheres, que passaram por situações de violência, e encontraram no Centro de Atendimento à Mulher Neuza Santos, o acolhimento e apoio jurídico, social e psicológico tanto precisavam, de forma gratuita, sendo este um dos principais equipamentos públicos de atendimento à mulher da Codim.

Nesta oportunidade, encontraremos elementos da natureza e das estações do ano, para relatar todo processo de cura vivenciado por cada uma dessas mulheres.

Mulheres reais, com histórias de vida reais. O propósito da exposição é poder iluminar e transformar em arte, poesia e cor o olhar que muitas vezes está pausado nas sombras e dores do universo feminino, através do olhar da fotografia.

"Através da minha lente , as mulheres que enfrentaram a sombra da violência encontram uma poderosa ferramenta de expressão e cura. Cada imagem capturada é mais do que apenas uma cena congelada no tempo; é um testemunho visual de suas jornadas, de suas cicatrizes e de sua resiliência. Na fotografia, elas descobriram uma maneira de compartilhar suas histórias sem palavras, de revelar suas verdades mais profundas sem precisar pronunciá-las em voz alta. Em cada clique da câmera há um ato de coragem, uma declaração de que elas se recusam a serem definidas por seus traumas. A fotografia não apenas dá voz às suas experiências, mas também as capacita a reivindicar sua narrativa, a desafiar estereótipos e a inspirar mudanças. Que cada imagem capturada seja um lembrete de sua força interior e um chamado à ação para criar um mundo onde todas as mulheres possam viver sem medo."

Me and Niterói City Hall launches photo exhibition "Metamorphosis: From Shadows to Light" in honor of Women's Month

The Coordination of Women's Policies and Rights of Niterói City Hall has launched, on March 8, at the mezzanine of the Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC), the exhibition "Metamorphosis: From Shadows to Light", a poetic immersion through photography. Seven women who receive support from Codim posed for Adriana Oliveira's lenses. In the exhibition, the public is invited to reflect deeply on the many faces of violence against women, but also on the power of metamorphosis and rebirth.

The Coordination of Women's Rights, in the year it celebrates its 21st anniversary, celebrates and invites everyone to participate and get to know the exhibition "Metamorphosis: From Shadows to Light".

This exhibition tells the story of 7 women who have experienced situations of violence, and found in the Neuza Santos Women's Care Center, the support and legal, social, and psychological assistance they so desperately needed, free of charge, being one of the main public facilities for women's assistance of Codim.

In this opportunity, we will find elements of nature and the seasons, to narrate the entire healing process experienced by each of these women.

Real women, with real life stories. The purpose of the exhibition is to illuminate and transform into art, poetry, and color the gaze that is often paused in the shadows and pains of the feminine universe, through the lens of photography.

"Through my lens, women who have faced the shadow of violence find a powerful tool for expression and healing. Each captured image is more than just a frozen scene in time; it is a visual testimony of their journeys, their scars, and their resilience. In photography, they have found a way to share their stories without words, to reveal their deepest truths without needing to speak them aloud. In each camera click there is an act of courage, a statement that they refuse to be defined by their traumas. Photography not only gives voice to their experiences but also empowers them to reclaim their narrative, to challenge stereotypes, and to inspire change. May each captured image be a reminder of their inner strength and a call to action to create a world where all women can live without fear."
